Reiki Explained
Reiki (ray-key) is a Japanese natural energy healing technique. 'Rei' means universal wisdom and 'ki' means life force energy.
How Does It Work ?
Reiki energy flows through the therapist and into the client , intuitively healing where it is needed. It clears and balances our energy centres known as chakras. At least three sessions are needed for the most benefit.
What Is It For ?
Reiki can bring clarity and calmness into your life, and promote better sleep. It can also aid and accelerate healing of physical , mental, spiritual and emotional pain and difficulties. Particularly beneficial for pregnant and nursing mothers, or stages of the peri/menopause/post menopause.
What Happens During A Session ?
For Distance Reiki sessions good intentions are set and you simply relax in your own quiet place, healing is sent remotely transcending time and space via sacred symbols. It works by clearing and balancing the main chakras in your body.
The mathematical physics of space time can be explored in quantum theory.
At least three sessions are needed for the best outcome. As with any therapeutic treatment, the more you have the better you will feel.

Reiki History
Reiki was founded in the 20th century by Dr Mikao Usui after extensive studies and demonstrates that our mind, body and soul are connected to and affected by each other. Whether this is in our past , present or future. It is not a religion or belief system but a spiritual practise used since the early 1920's. Reiki Master Teachers attune healing therapists in sacred ceremonies, and have a direct lineage
back to Dr Usui.
The Future of Reiki
The National Health Service are trialling the use of Reiki alongside conventional medicine and it may be added to patient treatment plans in the future.
